On August 5, 2020, Dakh Daughters played a special summer concert on the All Yours Terrace in Kyiv, Ukraine. Dakh Daughters is a Ukrainian musical and theatrical project launched in 2012 in Kyiv.The group consists of seven women who play different instruments and sing in different languages (English, French, Russian, German) and different dialects of Ukrainian.This female theatrical and musical group performs in the genres of "freak cabaret" and eccentric musical and theatrical performances.The group has toured and gained popularity among its fans in Poland, Czech Republic, France, Russia, United States and Brazil.One of the first performances took place at the Kyiv Gogolfest festival in Ukraine. The Gogolfest is an annual multidisciplinary international festival of contemporary art and cinema in Kyiv, dedicated to the famous writer Mykola Gogol. The festival presents theater, music, cinema, literature and fine arts.
